Job summary

A leading specialist education provider in Surrey is seeking a Social, Emotional & Behavioural Support Practitioner (SEN) to support young people aged 11-16 with Autism. You will play a crucial role in promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour, working closely with a dedicated team. Qualifications

  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Practitioner-level training in therapeutic or behavioural support is desirable.
  • Experience running nurture or social skills groups is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1, small group and class-based emotional and behavioural support sessions.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and families.
  • Contribute to Annual Reviews and pastoral planning.

Skills

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Knowledge of social, emotional and behavioural development
Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team

GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
