A well-established West Yorkshire Accountancy Practice is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to oversee client bookkeeping, prepare financial statements, and manage tax returns. The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification (or close to completion) and at least 4 years of accountancy practice experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in an accountancy practice required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client bookkeeping.
  • Prepare complex company financial statements.
  • Prepare personal tax returns.
  • Review and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Produce forecasts and business projections if suitable.
  • Attend client meetings and engage confidently with directors.

Skills

ACA/ACCA qualified
Corporation Tax experience
Proficiency in Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and technical capability
Effective prioritisation and organisation
Ability to manage confidential information
Reliable record keeping
Willingness to work occasional paid additional hours

Education
