Overview

PA/LSA

We are currently recruiting for a Male teaching assistant to support a young boy on a 121, long term basis. The child is extremely PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) and cannot be in an educational setting at all and is currently educated at home. We are looking for someone who is flexible as the child struggles with set agendas and someone who is knowledgeable around PDA.

Wed 9-1
Thu 1-5
Fri 1-5

Requirements for the right candidate

• Interest in sport - specifically martial arts or boxing, would be a huge benefit
• Skills such as woodwork or computer skills are very beneficial
• Flexibility
• Proactive attitude

• Previous relevant experience
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (advantageous but we can support you in applying for one if you do not already have one)
• MUST drive and have access to a car
