The role

As a Security Supply Chain Assurance Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Drive compliance and operational excellence in support of nuclear and non-nuclear regulations at Babcock. This role focuses on strengthening contractual delivery by collaborating with customers to enhance security arrangements, ensure regulatory alignment, and foster continuous improvement across all assurance activities.

Day-to-day, you’ll deliver supply chain security assurance across nuclear and non-nuclear programmes, ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts. Evaluate supplier arrangements, contribute to risk assessments, and drive improvements. Promote best practice in line with defence and corporate standards.

  • Deliver professional supply chain security assurance across Babcock operations and interfaces
  • Coordinate nuclear and non-nuclear assurance activities, supporting compliance and risk mitigation
  • Implement and audit security frameworks to protect assets, information, and transport
  • Advise and influence internal teams and suppliers on effective security standards and practices

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Security Supply Chain Assurance Advisor

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
