The Role

The Security Specialist builds strong customer relationships with a deep focus on technology. Their expertise empowers customers to succeed and connect and collaborates with the customer as well as multiple internal are seeking a dedicated Security Specialist in Dublin to join our growing team reporting directly to the Director of Professional Services based in Texas. Youll use your deep security knowledge to become a trusted advisor for our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) customers as well as onboarding customers into our MDR / MXDR offerings.

At a Glance

A Security Specialist is the main point of contact fostering positive customer experiences throughout their Vectra MDR journey. They solve issues provide technical guidance and support customers and internal teams in enhancing the value of Vectra products and services. Security Specialists love monitoring industry trends staying updated on MDR standard processes and educate customers on Vectras platform and services as well as driving deep integration of Vectra Cognito into customer workflows collaborate on renewal strategies and develop programs to increase product adoption. It is vital to be successful in this role to keep an eye on and report back on key success drivers to measure customer satisfaction health score and product usage.

What Will Impress Us
  • Solid understanding of network security enterprise software and security product lines (firewalls SIEM )
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at all levels.
  • Track record of building successful relationships with senior leaders and technical teams.
  • A genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service and drive customer success.
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role within enterprise software (CSM TAM Sales Engineering etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience with Vectra SentinelOne Microsoft Defender or CrowdStrike or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting high-touch enterprise customers (Fortune 500 or similar)
  • Project management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong analytical negotiating and influencing skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

What would impress us even more would be some coding experience in Bash Python Powershell or APIs and some open-source development experience.
