Are you an enthusiastic, team‑orientated professional with proven secretarial and administrative skills? The role is varied – such as co‑ordinating and minuting meetings, booking clinic appointments, typing clinic letters, assisting with patient referral administration and supporting our receptionist in greeting patients and dealing with telephone enquiries. You will have proven secretarial and administrative skills and experience such as typing and audio typing, good IT skills and experience of using Word, Excel, and Outlook, excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management and team‑working abilities and a professional yet compassionate approach.

Only open to applicants from Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to: Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare FT, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton FT, South Central Ambulance Service, Isle of Wight NHS FT or Hampshire Hospitals FT.
Provide an extensive medical secretarial support to the Consultant Psychiatrists with the EIP team, including managing diaries, sending out appointment letters, maintaining waiting lists and extensive experience with audio typing and a good level of grammar. Sending out letters either electronically to the GP or emailed as appropriate once they have been reviewed as accurate and then uploaded onto the RIO system.
Provide excellent administrative support to the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team, including sending of assessment/discharge letters, arranging assessments, and any other administrative tasks that may be asked of you by the team.
