Pay Rate: £ 37,925 + Shift Premium + Over Time

Contract Type: Secondment 6 months | 6 Months FTC
Shift patterns: Rotational shifts | 4 on, 4 Off | 18:00-6:00
Location: Northampton, NN4 9BD

Role Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager Nights to lead our operations and drive success.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements across the site.
• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members.
• Take proactive approach to ensure housekeeping is managed and maintained to goods manufacturing practice.
• Facilitate effective communication – verbally and written.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced; all staff briefed with all updates and changes.
• Work in collaboration with Line Manager to ensure all training needs are completed in line with DHL standard.
• Effective communication with team and customers (written and verbally).

Qualifications

• Happy to work a Night Shift 18:00–6:00, 4 on 4 off.
• Good analytical and numerical skills (WMS).
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills.
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Knowledge in consumer and convenience logistics – desirable.
• Resource planning, workload assignment.
• Happy to work in a temperature controlled warehouse.
• Leadership and management experience in warehouse management – Essential.
