Secondary Supply Teachers – Flexible supply roles in Stowmarket and surrounding areas, starting ASAP. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Secondary Supply Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will cover lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects at secondary level
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils’ learning and engagement during cover lessons
• Follow school policies and procedures effectively
• Complete any necessary marking and feedback when required
• Communicate professionally with staff and pupils

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in secondary schools across different subjects
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
• Ability to engage pupils and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
