Secondary Supply Teacher

Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for flexible work, or a long-term opportunity in the Northwich area? We are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to support a network of schools in CW9 and surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for daily cover or a consistent role within one school, we have a range of opportunities available across all subjects and key stages.

About the Role

As a supply teacher, you will be delivering planned lessons across various subjects, maintaining classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged in learning. Long-term roles may also involve planning and marking responsibilities, depending on the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to secondary-aged students
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school (or plan when required in long-term roles)
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and procedures
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (recent or within the last 2 years)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a professional attitude
