Science Teacher

Responsibilities of the Science Teacher Role
  • Deliver engaging and creative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire students to develop a love for Science and critical thinking
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic achievement
  • Uphold all safeguarding and school policies consistently
Requirements for the Science Teacher Role
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and lesson planning skills
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for teaching Science and encouraging curiosity
