Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – HX3 Area, Secondary School

Employer: The Education Network

The Education Network is working in partnership with a thriving Secondary School in the HX3 area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who is keen to make a difference in the lives of young people and support their academic, social, and emotional development.

Role Responsibilities
  • Delivering learning activities to whole classes, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis in line with teacher planning.
  • Supporting teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Adapting learning materials to meet the needs of individual students, including those with SEND.
  • Assisting in classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the wider pastoral support of students.
Requirements
  • HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
  • Previous experience supporting learning within a Secondary school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting both students and teaching staff.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
