Overview

At The Entertainer, Peterborough Bridge Street, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different!

Responsibilities

• Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service.
• Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team.
• Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries.

Hours, pay and contract

• Age: 16-20 years old – £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus – £12.21 per hour.
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026.
• Store open 7 days a week; ability to support weekends including Sundays.
• Hours available: 12-hour per week contract (you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts).
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days; provide details in your application.
• There may be opportunity to work extra hours depending on trade.
• Seasonal requirement: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve are expected working days.
