Job summary

A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join their delivery team in the UK. The role involves facilitating Agile/Scrum practices, coaching team members, and ensuring timely delivery of business value. Candidates should have over 6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master, along with strong skills in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. This hybrid position requires working onsite 2 days a week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with 3–5 years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong hands-on experience with Scrum, Agile, SAFe methodologies.
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog.
• Ensure transparency through Agile metrics.

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our delivery team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile/Scrum practices, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring timely delivery of business value.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives
• Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum framework
• Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog
• Ensure transparency through Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
• Promote continuous improvement and team self-organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with 3–5 years as a Scrum Master
• Strong hands-on experience with Scrum, Agile, SAFe methodologies
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Certifications (Preferred)

• CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master certification
• Agile or Lean certifications are a plus

Nice To Have

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI)
