Customer Service Assistant

Our stores are open from early in the morning to late at night, so a flexible approach is essential. No two days are the same and our Customer Service Assistants enjoy working at a fast pace, doing a variety of tasks from making breakfast rolls through to filling the shelves. As Customer Service Assistant your priority is making sure our customers have a great experience every time they visit the store, through friendly service, great product availability and first-class hygiene standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, efficient service to customers to ensure a great experience each visit.
  • Maintain product availability by stocking shelves and merchandising to high standards.
  • Adhere to first-class hygiene standards in all areas of store operation.
  • Prepare and serve various products, which could include raw and cooked meat, alcohol, and foods containing allergens.
  • Work on your feet for long periods and perform tasks such as lifting, carrying and other duties as required (e.g., stock merchandising and cleaning).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Enthusiasm, a passion for customer service, and excellent communication skills.
  • Training will be provided; experience in a sales or retail environment is an advantage.
  • Previous knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
