Job summary

A leading health diagnostics company is seeking an experienced Scientist to support projects facilitating In-Vitro Diagnostics Development. The role involves using technical expertise in IVD development and solving complex problems. Ideal candidates will possess strong experience in IVD, ideally with FISH or ISH assays, and a relevant PhD or MSc. This permanent opportunity offers a salary of £35,000-£37,000 alongside competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Strong working experience with IVD development, ideally FISH or ISH immunohistochemical assays.
  • Strong knowledge of assay development.
  • Industry experience in supporting research projects and delivering results.
  • Familiarity with Recombinant Protein manufacture, Hybridoma growth and Cell Culture, would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving approach to challenges.
  • Ideally educated to PhD or MSc in a relevant biological discipline, or with equivalent industry experience.

Our client is a global Leader in health diagnostic tools and services, specialising in providing easy-to-use diagnostics to improve patients’ lives. Due to company expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Scientist to join the company to support with projects facilitating In-Vitro Diagnostics Development.
