Our STMJ (Science, Technology, and Medical Journals) team, including our prestigious Cell Press portfolio, publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research that drives progress across scientific and medical disciplines. We work closely with authors, editors, reviewers, and societies to ensure the integrity, relevance, and impact of the published work. Cell has an opening for a full-time scientific editor. Candidates with experience and expertise in computational biology and AI/ML, genetics and genomics, clinical/translational and/or cancer research are encouraged to apply, but strong candidates from all disciplines who are broadly interested in science covered by the scope of Cell will be considered. This position is open to editors at entry (where no editorial experience is needed) as well as those with editorial experience.

PhD is a must.
Experience and expertise in computational biology, AI/ML, genetics, genomics, clinical/translational and/or cancer research is preferred.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
