Overview

Pyrland School, in addition to being part of Richard Huish Trust, is currently being supported by the Midsomer Norton School's Partnership, is looking to appoint a committed, caring and inspirational professional to fill the role of Science Technician as soon as possible. We are seeking an excellent candidate with a passion for education and the ability to motivate and enthuse students, deepening their knowledge and understanding. In addition to this, the successful candidate will manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning.

  • Salary: Grade 13 Point 6 currently £25,989 FTE (actual on 26 hours = £15,638 per annum)
  • Hours: 26 hours per week, 39 weeks a year
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Start Date: asap, subject to employment checks
  • Closing date: 7th October 2025 at 9am
