We can take advantage of our beautiful setting to inspire and create fun experiences to enhance learning and progress.
We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team and support young people aged – with social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders, and mental health needs. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons up to GCSE level, helping pupil’s gain the academic and life skills they need for their next steps, whether that’s further education, training, or employment. Our pupils can display challenging behaviours, so we’re looking for someone patient, resilient, and ready to build strong, supportive relationships.
You’ll collaborate closely with the science team and help shape and develop our curriculum, keeping it fresh, relevant, and tailored to each pupils needs., contribute to important review of EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews for all pupils you teach. Alongside teaching, you will responsible for a tutor group of no more than 6 pupils, who you will see once a week as part of the timetable.
