Job Title: Science Teacher (Chemistry & Physics) - Part Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Watford. This is a part-time position covering Wednesday to Friday, starting immediately and running until October half term, with the possibility of extension until Christmas.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 Chemistry and Physics, inspiring students to develop their scientific knowledge and confidence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach Chemistry and Physics to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess, track and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and Physics.
