West Midlands/ temporary / £140 - 200 per day

Combined Science Teacher needed in Smethwick

Key Stage 3 and 4

Long-term post, full-time

A Science Teacher is required for a mainstream School in Smethwick. The school have high expectations that are combined with outstanding teaching, leading each student to be aspirational and determined to succeed. They believe that personal development and well-being of their students is of the utmost importance.

The five day a week role starts in October 2025 and will be teaching Combined Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in English whilst keeping a high standard of teaching and a positive and enthusiastic approach.

The role will initially continue until the end of the Autumn term.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

  • QTS with Science specialism
  • Experience teaching Science to KS4
  • Good classroom management
  • Ability to fulfil all aspects of a full teaching role
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with

For right candidate the position will extend for at least until the end of the academic year.

A dedicated Secondary Consultant will be available to also support and provide market leading advice whilst in the role.

Rate of pay for this role will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 educational based references to be considered for this role
