Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking an experienced SEMH (Special Educational Needs and Mental Health) science teacher for a permanent full-time post in Kingston Lewes, East Sussex. Available immediately or October 2025.
If you have experience teaching Science with SEND (SEMH) across primary or secondary, this permanent role provides specialist education and support to young people with social, emotional, cognitive and sensorial needs. All pupils have an Education Health Care Plan. The site is part of a national trust focused on complex behaviours and needs.
The site is a mile from Lewes, 7 miles from the south coast and the city of Brighton. The trust works with pupils who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences to develop self-belief and effective learning.
Shortlisted candidates will have a one-to-one interview with a dedicated consultant, followed by a more formal application process with guidance and support.
Proposed start date: Immediately or October 2025
Salary: Typically £35,000 to £45,000 (negotiable)
