A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified individual to provide Science and AV support services in schools. The successful candidate will have expertise in at least one technical field and experience working in educational settings. Responsibilities include managing materials and financial tasks while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires strong communication skills and time management. A temporary appointment until April 2026, with a closing date of December 19, 2025.
The purpose of this post is to provide Science / AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.

Health and Safety
Provision and organisation of materials and equipment
Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD
Financial responsibility including inventory tasks
This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
Temporary appointment until 30 April 2026.

Starting Salary: £31,630.30
