4YP are seeking to appoint a full-time Schools Youth Link Worker to lead the development and delivery of a three-year pilot project, focused on Youth Social Prescribing in a secondary school setting.

You will:
  • provide a link worker provision in schools to maximise the number of young people accessing the community services and the support they need
  • deliver help and support to young people to make connections with their communities, improve their wellbeing
  • build positive and reliable relationships and to learn career and life skills for achieving their goals
  • identify themes and gaps in provision, listening to the needs and wants of young people, and using this to inform our provision of support based in school
  • have proven experience of working with younger people in a range of settings is essential, as well as an ability to communicate and work effectively and safely with children and young people, especially those most at risk.
