School Office Manager – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £26,-£35, per annum

Working Hours: Full-time

Job Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent)

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the school office and all administrative functions.
  • Line manage administrative staff and support the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding, attendance, and compliance records.
  • Act as a key point of communication between parents, staff, external agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee systems such as HR files, SIMS / Arbor, finance administration, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure the school office operates smoothly, professionally, and efficiently at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager within an education environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or similar school systems.
  • Experience supporting SEND and SEMH environments (essential).
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and remain calm in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong safeguarding understanding and awareness of confidentiality and compliance requirements.
