Full-Time School ICT Technician

Salary: 90 - 100 per day inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay

Contract type: Temporary, part-time

We are currently supporting a mainstream secondary school in the West Lancashire area in their search for a full‑time ICT Technician to support the school on a long‑term basis (potentially permanent for the right candidate).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up equipment and materials for ICT lessons
  • Maintain and organise ICT equipment, ensuring a safe and tidy environment
  • Assist teachers during with ICT support
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks throughout ICT systems
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
  • Previous experience as a ICT technician or in a role (desirable but not essential)
  • A qualification in a ICT related field (e.g., GCSE, A-Level or degree) or equivalent or a passion for ICT
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
