An East London Academy is looking for a highly competent School Business Manager to lead non-teaching functions, including financial management and human resources. This position requires previous experience in school business management. The successful candidate will oversee the school budget and ensure compliance with financial regulations, all while establishing themselves as a key member of the leadership team.
My client is an East London based Academy, looking to recruit a highly competent School Business Manager to lead the non-teaching functions of the school. This role holds responsibility for managing the overall business functions of the school, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration. You will advise on and implement the day to day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.
Previous school business management experience is essential.
There is plenty of opportunity to refine and evaluate processes and procedures to improve the support function. You will report directly to the Headteacher and quickly establish yourself as a key member of the school leadership team.
