We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to be part of the front of office team. The successful candidate will have a key role contributing to the smooth running of our busy office. This is a varied role and will require a person who is confident and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties Will Include
  • Provide reception cover and act as main point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and telephone/email enquiries.
  • Pupil attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Managing and ensuring compliance with data protection (GDPR) requirements.
  • You will help ensure smooth day-to-day admin operations and support a welcoming, organised environment for pupils, staff and parents.
Desired Qualities & Skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Good communication skills able to liaise confidently with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies.
  • Experience of working with sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and willingness to learn school information management systems.
  • A calm, friendly and professional demeanour, able to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic school environment.
Eligibility criteria for mandatory pre-employment training
  • You must be 19+
  • Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
  • Not currently in education
  • Currently unemployed or in receipt of low wage (Under £25,750)
