Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is looking for a full-time Receptionist/Clerical Officer to provide clerical and administrative support within a busy outpatient environment at Aberdeen Health Village. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting. Training will be provided for the Patient Management System. Applications are encouraged from individuals with diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Good keyboard skills and confidence with IT systems.
  • Experience of a Patient Management System (PMS) is advantageous.

Overview

Receptionist/Clerical Officer, 37 hours per week, Permanent
Patient Services

A vacancy has arisen within the AHP Administration Team for a full time Receptionist/Clerical Officer, who will be predominantly based at Aberdeen Health Village (office based position).

The AHP Administration Team is a large, city wide team, providing clerical and administrative support to the Allied Health Professions, including: Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech & Language Therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Allied Health Professions as part of the AHP Administration Team.
  • Work predominantly from Aberdeen Health Village (office based post).
  • Adapt to a fast paced environment and manage changing priorities, workload and time pressures with ease.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to working with the general public.
  • Good keyboard skills and confidence with IT systems.
  • Experience of a Patient Management System (PMS) is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
