SATCOM Validation Engineer x2

What you will be doing

• Engage in the validation efforts for satellite communication payloads and embedded processing systems, ensuring all systems meet design specifications and performance standards.
• Participate in all phases of the validation process, including initial testing and system bring ups, final validation and flight collaboration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve cross system issues and validation issues.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and compliance with industry standards.
• Design CI/CD automation.
• Design and develop test set‑ups, automated and manuel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecom, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in system validation of embedded telecom products preferably in satellite communication or space applications.
• Strong understanding of validation processes, test methodologies, and system requirements.
• Proven experience with either RF testing and telecom system testing or test automation.
• Proficiency in test data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with test automation and software tools for integration and validation, including CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Advantages

• Knowledge of RF systems and their integration into satellite communication payloads.
• Knowledge of digital communication principles and satellite communication protocols.
• Familiarity with 5G waveform, DVB‑S2X, CCSDS modems, DPDK, and VPP L2/L3 processing.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and version control software like Git.
