Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced SAP PS/PPM Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract. The consultant will support effective project planning and execution for a Utilities client, offering expertise in SAP PS/PPM. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, process mapping, and supporting budgeting and cost tracking. This role is remote with occasional travel to Leeds and requires strong knowledge in project structuring and integration with SAP modules.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP PS/PPM, ideally within Energy, Water, or Gas.
• Strong knowledge of project structuring, WBS, and project reporting.
• Understanding of integration points with SAP PM, MM, FI/CO.

• Gather business requirements and configure SAP PS/PPM for project lifecycle management.
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes to align with SAP PM, MM, and Finance.

We are looking for an experienced SAP PS/PPM Functional Consultant to support our Utilities client. The consultant will ensure effective project planning, execution, and reporting, providing expertise in SAP PS/PPM to manage capital projects, maintenance, and operational programs.

Remote working with ad hoc travel to Leeds.

Key Deliverable

• Gather business requirements and configure SAP PS/PPM to support project life cycle management in Utilities
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, ensuring alignment with SAP PM, MM, and Finance processes
• Support project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and cost tracking using SAP PS/PPM.

Background

• Hands‑on experience in SAP PS/PPM, ideally within Energy, Water, Gas.
• Strong knowledge of project structuring, WBS, network activities, milestones, and project reporting
• Understanding of integration points with SAP PM, MM, FI/CO.
