What you will do

We’re looking for a Salesforce Release Engineer to lead and coordinate release processes across multiple Salesforce organizations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant deployments while maintaining system integrity and minimizing disruption. This includes managing Salesforce standard releases, sandbox refreshes, and supporting DevOps automation using Azure Pipelines. You’ll work closely with development and business teams worldwide.

How you will do it
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate Salesforce releases across multiple organizations, including risk assessment, deployment planning, and post-release activities.

  • Create and publish detailed Release Calendars for each Salesforce instance.

  • Monitor release progress and proactively address risks and issues.

  • Ensure compliance with governance and change management best practices.

  • Collaborate with global development and operations teams for efficient release cycles.

  • Communicate timelines, requirements, and expectations clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

  • Work with the Change Management Board for approvals and implementation coordination.

  • Assess change requests for potential downstream impacts on Salesforce environments.

  • Manage sandbox refreshes and align them with the release calendar.

  • Maintain and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines for automated deployments.

  • Continuously improve release processes, tools, and automation for better efficiency and quality.

  • Partner with Salesforce on upcoming platform changes, releases, and health reviews.

What we look for
Required
  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce release management in a multi-org environment (20,000+ users, 5+ organizations).

  • Salesforce Platform Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect Certification or multiple Salesforce certifications (minimum: Platform Developer II).

  • Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for Salesforce metadata and code deployments.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, release lifecycle, Apex, objects, integrations, data manipulation, and security models.

  • Experience with Salesforce metadata, deployment tools (e.g., SFDX, Change Sets), and sandbox management.

  • Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar).

  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to lead and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Ability to cover North America time zone on a regular basis.

Preferred
  • Degree in an IT‑related field.
