Overview

Sales Secretary – Location: Bury St Edmunds. Salary: £28,000. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. A highly reputable client in the property sector is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to their dynamic Sales & Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with a strong background in administration and a keen interest in property to join a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update sales-related data including reservations, completions, and cancellations, using industry-specific systems.
  • Prepare and circulate documentation related to sales, ensuring accurate filing and compliance.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Coordinate the preparation of completion statements and ensure timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Sales Director with diary management, meeting minutes, reporting, and general correspondence.
  • Manage the ordering and administration of staff uniforms, PPE, lone worker devices, and welcome gifts.
  • Assist in the coordination of corporate hospitality events including logistics, invitations, and budgeting.
  • Liaise with other departments to provide secretarial cover and support when needed.
  • Monitor and manage supplier invoices through the internal system.
  • Oversee the rota and annual leave schedules for sales staff and process expense claims.
  • Carry out research for new site developments including local amenities, pricing, and competitor analysis.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar secretarial or administrative role, ideally within property, construction, or sales environments.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a professional and proactive attitude.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
