The Sales Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of door and fireplace projects—from bid to final installation. This hybrid role combines technical sales support, project management, and client coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and experienced in managing construction-related projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, install, purchasing) and external stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate bids and sales proposals; assist with presentations and quoting
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and generate progress reports
  • Monitor quality and ensure compliance with safety and installation standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management or sales support in the construction or building materials industry
  • Knowledge of door and fireplace systems (or similar product categories)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana), and basic CAD familiarity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a team-based environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites occasionally
