Optoma was established in 1997 and currently employs around 130 employees across Europe, with the majority of these operating from our headquarters in Watford.

Job Description

You will hold primary responsibility for:

  • Managing existing distribution partners across IT, AV, Retail and Home Cinema markets
  • Developing and implementing activities to create consumer demand for Optoma products
  • Ensuring effective on-going coverage across diverse channels to market
  • Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Provision of territory management data: forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to EMEA HQ management providing the basis for sales planning
  • Management of PR activities
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues and develop, present and demonstrate our capabilities to current and potential customers
  • The development of marketing plans and promotions both independently and in conjunction with local partners
  • The initiation, arrangement and attendance of product demonstrations as needed
  • Participate in trade shows and other product events
  • Gather market and product intelligence for EMEA HQ in Watford, UK
Candidate Specification
  • Successful sales professional with experience in the IT industry or preferably the display industry
  • Be a problem solver with a positive attitude and strong self motivational attributes
  • Be comfortable selling at multiple levels within distributors and resellers
  • Demonstrate customer focus by meeting and continuously exceeding customer expectations
  • Have an excellent ability to communicate at all levels within an organization, with an emphasis on strong presentation skills
  • Have demonstrable teamwork and interpersonal savvy
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to handle pressure and prioritize under stress while meeting all client and team deadlines
  • Have the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet individual and team goals
