Overview

Regional Sales Manager – TMC. Location: Dunstable (LU5 5XE). Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 from home. Permanent position. The role focuses on inactive Travel Management Company (TMC) accounts across the UK and Ireland, representing Premier Inn to build partnerships and drive business travel revenue.

We are seeking a commercially minded sales professional to lead relationships with TMCs, own a portfolio of accounts worth multi‑millions in revenue, and position Premier Inn as the go‑to choice for business travel. The role involves representing Premier Inn at trade shows and industry events (3–5 per year) and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities
  • Grow a portfolio of TMC accounts worth multi‑million pounds in revenue.
  • Develop and execute account plans to meet growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and across the TMC landscape.
  • Lead contract renewals and negotiations, working closely with the Head of Indirect Sales.
  • Deliver quarterly and annual business reviews, plus monthly performance reports.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activity, and use that insight to drive action.
  • Represent Premier Inn at key trade shows and events.
  • Maintain strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot and act on opportunities.
  • Demonstrate great sales ability and confidence in using and interpreting data to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Show a proactive, self-starting attitude with a passion for delivering results.
  • Be comfortable using Excel (advanced level) and ideally Tableau for reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain awareness of demand, pricing, and external market factors, including macro trends affecting business travel.

  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and experience with Tableau is desirable.
  • Understanding of demand, pricing, and external market factors impacting business travel.
