The Role

At WTW, our Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) team helps organisations navigate risk, drive innovation, and protect their assets. As a Sales Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our mid-market client base across Northern England and Scotland. Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Develop and execute a targeted strategy to attract and secure new mid-market CRB clients.
  • Build a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify client exposures and tailor solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to deliver compelling proposals and presentations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, designing insurance and risk transfer programmes aligned with client goals.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive service and innovative solutions.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across WTW’s broader capabilities.
  • Represent WTW at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility.

Internal Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner with broking, claims, analytics, and specialty teams to develop bespoke client solutions.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and leadership to share best practices and identify growth opportunities.
  • Promote CRB mid-market capabilities internally and foster a collaborative team culture.
Performance Objectives

Financial

  • Achieve or exceed new business and revenue targets for mid-market accounts.
  • Maintain pipeline discipline to meet quarterly and annual goals.

Client Excellence

  • Deliver client-centric strategies that generate measurable value.
  • Strengthen WTW’s reputation as a trusted advisor in the risk and insurance space.

  • Build strong relationships across CRB and other business segments.
