Sales Executive – Logistics/Freight Forwarding
Chelmsford (Office-Based with Local Field Travel)
Permanent - Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

If you’re driven, confident, and ready to launch (or accelerate) your career in logistics sales, this role offers the perfect platform to learn, grow, and succeed.

You’ll be joining a rapidly growing Freight Forwarding business in brand-new, high-spec offices right in the heart of Chelmsford — next door to the train and bus station. Under the guidance of an experienced and supportive mentor, you’ll gain further industry knowledge across all modals (Sea, Air and Road) while developing the skills to win business and build lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Building and developing your own client portfolio, focusing on long-term partnerships.
  • Making proactive calls, arranging meetings, and presenting tailored logistics solutions.
  • Spotting opportunities in the market and turning leads into business wins.
  • Working closely with operations to deliver on promises and exceed client expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Ideally, someone at the early stages of their logistics sales career (or with transferable sales skills) who is eager to grow in the industry.
  • Proven experience in sales, within logistics, transport, or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator — comfortable picking up the phone, meeting clients, and selling solutions.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive with a genuine interest in logistics/freight forwarding.
  • A team player who’s open to learning and taking guidance from a seasoned mentor.
