About the Role

A leading manufacturer of industrial and technical products based in Leeds is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Sales Estimator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in estimating, engineering, or manufacturing who wants to play a key role in supporting growth and developing efficient processes.

Role Overview

As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate costings, supporting sales teams, generating technical drawings when required, and ensuring customer requests are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate material, labour, and service costings.
  • Input and manage cost data within company systems (Excel and CRM).
  • Review and process all Requests for Quotes (RFQs) in line with agreed priorities.
  • Communicate with internal and external sales teams to resolve queries.
  • Create CAD drawings where required and maintain proper filing of all drawings.
  • Identify differences between estimated and actual costs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across internal processes.
  • Contribute to product and process standardisation and new product development.
  • Uphold high ethical standards when handling commercial information.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues to support sales activity.
  • Undertake any additional duties as required.
