Overview

As the Sales Director, UK Direct Enterprise Advertisers, in our London office, you will lead and grow Taboola’s Enterprise advertiser direct business by running a team of sellers and account managers – working to land new opportunities and grow our incredible momentum in this market and scale the business further. Taboola is a global leader in powering recommendations and driving performance at scale via the open web, helping people discover what’s interesting and new in the digital world.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of direct sellers and account managers to land and scale new business, focusing on our ideal customer profile
  • Drive high performance on the team in order to grow the UK BoB
  • Effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate, identifying ways to close the Gap.
  • Define the “direct” strategy for the team and come up with creative ways of cutting through the noise and getting in front of key contacts
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, regularly tracking and optimizing performance
  • Understand the clients’ organization and produce and manage “client mapping” for key clients and keep these up-to-date at all times
  • Run quarterly account plans with the AMs and hold them accountable in ways to scale
  • Offer multiple Taboola products to a given client by finding the right stakeholders for each product
  • Gain excellent understanding of digital technology, video, and revenue ecosystem to be able to explain product benefits within this context
  • Work closely with the Country Manager to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Build the book of business with a strong ICP customer base that can grow into key advertisers that spend >$500k+ per year
  • Pitch, sign and manage JBA’s with key clients
  • Ensure QBRs are delivered in a timely fashion and effectively
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our products and technology
  • Work collaboratively with other markets and teams around the business to understand the types of clients scaling in their markets and look to replicate in the UK
  • Convey feedback from clients to Taboola’s product team regarding product development needs
  • Have an active social and on stage presence, actively building your network
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years in a key sales leadership position, selling scalable solutions to UK advertisers (preferably from performance advertisers)
  • Must come with experience of directly managing, recruiting and developing a sales and AM team of at minimum 6 people
  • Must come with proven success in securing and scaling customer budgets
  • Experience in independently building, pursuing and closing a large pipeline of leads
  • Significant experience in structuring and negotiating deals within the digital media space
  • Experience mentoring sales and account managers and paving the way for them to excellent performance
  • Must be technologically savvy — ability to learn what is needed to support deal’s successful implementation and optimization
  • Experienced in building a great team culture and team camaraderie
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment and consistently learn, adapt and develop.
  • Working with performance customers would be highly beneficial
