THE EMPLOYER IS: TOOLBOX.NET LTDAs a Sales & Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be helping to serve customers, provide product advice and maintain a high level of customer service. You will also be tasked with helping to update the company's website and social media accounts, product basic digital content and monitor online activity.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service & Sales Techniques - The candidate will learn how to greet customers, identify their needs, recommend suitable products, and complete sales with confidence and professionalism.
  • E-Commerce Management - They will gain hands‑on experience updating product listings, managing stock information, adjusting pricing, and ensuring the website remains accurate and visually appealing.
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Promotion - The candidate will develop skills in planning and creating content for social media, running basic promotional campaigns, and analysing online engagement to support marketing decisions.
  • Content Creation (Photo, Video & Copywriting) - They will learn how to produce high‑quality product photos, create short promotional videos, and write clear and engaging product descriptions and social media captions.
  • Merchandising & Retail Presentation - The candidate will understand how to organise product displays, implement visual merchandising techniques, and maintain an attractive and tidy shop environment.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Management - They will gain experience in checking deliveries, tracking inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate recording of products both in‑store and online.
  • Order Processing & Fulfilment - The candidate will learn how to process online orders, pick and pack products, prepare parcels for dispatch, and maintain efficient order‑tracking records.
  • Communication & Teamwork - They will develop strong interpersonal skills through daily interaction with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, learning how to communicate clearly and work effectively within a small team.
  • Time Management & Organisation - The candidate will be trained to prioritise tasks, manage daily website updates, schedule social media posts, and balance retail duties with online responsibilities.
  • IT & Digital Literacy - They will improve their confidence using software such as e-commerce platforms, social media tools, basic photo/video editing apps, and office software used for day‑to‑day business operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good communication skills for both written and verbal English.
  • Familiarity with Social Media content.
