Overview

Sales Assistant (Customer Advisor) position with Cotswold Outdoor Group. Location: Guildford, Surrey. Salary: £12.46 per hour. Employment type: Permanent, Part-time.

Note: Flexible availability with rotas published 4 weeks in advance. Must be able to work weekends and regular shifts as needed.

What you'll be doing
  • Deliver a standout shopping experience by understanding each customer's needs and helping them find the right outdoor gear
  • Maintain a welcoming store environment and work with your team to create a great customer experience
  • Build product knowledge through training and hands-on experience to offer reliable advice
  • Learn and deliver specialist services such as gait analysis, boot fitting, and rucksack fitting—with full training provided
  • Keep shelves tidy, products easy to see, and the stockroom organised
  • Be part of a flexible team, with weekend shifts included
  • Take advantage of regular development opportunities to grow your skills and career
We’re looking for someone who
  • Enjoys helping people and provides excellent customer service
  • Communicates well with a variety of people
  • Is organised and can manage multiple tasks
  • Eager to learn about outdoor products and the outdoors

We operate zero-hour contracts with flexibility; rotas are published 4 weeks in advance and availability should be confirmed accordingly. You will need to work regularly to remain an active colleague and be offered work.
