A charming country inn in the picturesque Cotswolds is seeking a Sales and Events Manager. This role focuses on securing new sales opportunities and orchestrating events to showcase the hotel. The ideal candidate is experienced in hospitality sales, has excellent communication skills, and is proficient in sales data analysis. The position offers competitive pay, a bonus scheme, and significant employee perks, including discounts at other hotels and meals while on duty.
Set in the heart of one of the most picturesque Cotswold villages, The Slaughters Country Inn offers the authentic charm of a traditional village inn. With 5 AA Gold Stars for Guest Accommodation and 2 AA rosettes, the Inn offers a relaxed yet professional environment to work in. The hotel may be able to offer both on‑ or off‑site staff accommodation to help new members relocate and settle into life at the hotel and local area in comfort, plus there is free parking on‑site at the hotel.
We pay our team service charge each month! All goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst the team at the hotel – every penny received is paid out to the team. The service charge can be in the region of £260 a month (close to £3,200 per year) over and above base pay, for a full‑time employee.

As a Sales and Events Manager, your role will be focused on securing new incremental sales and business opportunities for the hotels.
Full time, permanent. Monday to Friday (some evening and weekend work may be required to meet with clients or oversee events).
