Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Estimating Manager to join a leading manufacturer near Wolverhampton. This is a permanent, senior position within the business reporting directly to the MD.

The Role

You will be a key player in the business, leading a small team of estimators to ensure that all quotations for customers and prospective clients are sent out efficiently. Your leadership will be crucial in a period of significant growth and change.

  • Sales Management: Developing and executing strategic sales plans and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Managing the estimating team, ensuring they prepare accurate and timely estimates.
  • Customer Relations: Maximising sales by actively chasing quotations and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Technical Interpretation: Reviewing tender documents and technical drawings to ensure all quotes are as precise as possible.
  • Business Collaboration: Working closely with operations, finance, and manufacturing to ensure accurate forecasting and help meet business goals.
