Overview

A Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager is required to join an industry leader in Renton, WA

The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager will come from an energy efficiency, building systems, or direct-to-owner facilities sales background and will be responsible for growing and expanding long-term client relationships while driving new business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and cultivate new and existing client relationships
  • Sell controls, HVAC, lighting, mechanical, and energy projects direct to owner
  • Lead strategic account planning and growth initiatives
  • Coordinate projects with internal operations/sales teams and external partners
  • Support estimating and design development
  • Prepare and deliver proposals
Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, business, sustainability, or related field is beneficial
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in sales, engineering, or energy efficiency roles
  • Direct-to-owner facilities sales experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems, energy management systems, and lighting/controls
  • Energy efficiency or technical sales certification is desirable
  • Must reside within 45 minutes of Renton, WA
