Job description

We are looking to appoint a salaried GP to join our practice situated in the heart of Covent Garden

  • 4.5 sessions per week comprising of 4 clinical sessions and 0.5 session paid admin time ideally working on Wednesday and Friday but negotiable for the right candidate.
  • Salary £11,000 per session

Main duties of the job
  • Undertake all duties associated with the role of a General Practitioner required by the GMS contract
  • Support and contribute to the development of practice clinical procedures and protocols
  • Support and contribute to QOF and local enhanced service targets
  • Take on lead responsibilities of any agreed role in clinical management
  • Take on lead responsibility of an agreed management role
  • Accurate and timely input of patient data on the clinical system
  • Carrying out clinical audits as appropriate
  • Completion of reports for solicitors, insurance companies and others
  • Processing of clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other clinical tasks
  • Take an active role in contributing to practice meetings
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the practice.

We are a forward thinking practice with a growing, diverseinner city patient population of 5300. We are a member of the West End &Marylebone PCN, and GP Federation Healthcare Central London.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will deal with a wide range of health needsin a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registeredand temporary patients.

Responsibilities willinclude:

Consultation sessions including face to face andtelephone

Clinical administration

Attend, educational, multidisciplinary, practiceand clinical meetings

Attend training and events organised by thepractice and the ICB/Federation

Participate in an annual performance review
