A local sports club in the Southampton area is looking for volunteers to support youth activities through their Kicks project. The role involves engaging with young participants, assisting in session setups, and ensuring a positive environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to community development and gain valuable experience in a supportive team environment.

Level of DBS Required: Basic
Saints Foundation support Southampton by delivering projects that respond to the evolving needs of the people of our city. We work across five key focuses – Health, Education, Development, Employability and Pathways – with the aim of levelling the playing field.
This volunteering opportunity falls within the Kicks project. Our Kicks project aims to offer positive engagement for young people aged 8-18 within their communities, with the aim of reducing anti-social behaviour, crime and to build strong positive connections. Your role in our team will be to support the lead coaches to facilitate these activities and help staff work positively with young people across the city.
This role is suitable for a volunteer who can confidently engage with young people from a variety of backgrounds, supporting the delivery of fun and engaging activities to help inspire and empower young people to maximize their potential.
