MBDA is seeking a dynamic Safety, Health & Environmental Officer to join their team. This role involves designing and delivering SHE training, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and fostering a culture of continual improvement across various departments. An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-driven Safety, Health & Environmental Officer to join the MBDA team. The role covers the UK and can be based at any of our sites. If you are passionate about safety, health and reducing our impact on the environment, this challenging but rewarding position may be for you.
Salary: Circa £35,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working, such as 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working each week.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and deliver SHE-related training to enable management and employees to work safely and effectively. You will be involved in SHE activities across the UK, including assessments and communications, ensuring effective implementation of SHE policies and fostering a culture of continual improvement. Collaboration with departments such as engineering, manufacturing, facility maintenance, and security will be key, providing practical and professional experience in a challenging sector.
