Overview

An exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) Safeguarding Team. You will provide a comprehensive, high quality and efficient administrative service to the Team and support the smooth running of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive, high quality and efficient administrative service to the Safeguarding Team.
  • Support the smooth running of the department and work with initiative and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a calm and organised approach, even under tight timescales.
Qualifications
  • Strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in an administrative/secretarial role with a good standard of education and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proactive, flexible and well-organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with data protection issues and patient confidentiality.
  • Understanding of safeguarding would be advantageous.
