RTA Paralegal | Blackburn | Full Time, Office Based | Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm | £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

Are you an experienced RTA Paralegal with strong MOJ/OIC Portal expertise looking for your next challenge?

Our client is a progressive and fast-growing law firm dedicated to delivering results-driven legal services. With an expanding Personal Injury department, they are now seeking an experienced RTA Paralegal to join their dynamic and friendly team on a full-time, office-based basis.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of RTA claims from inception to settlement, with a strong focus on MOJ and OIC Portals.
  • Handle pre- and post-litigation stages, assess liability and quantum, and ensure claims are progressed efficiently.
  • Prepare court documents and comply with court deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulatory bodies (SRA, LEXCEL, etc.).
  • Meet billing targets and contribute to team KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Experienced Paralegal, CILEX, or experienced Fee Earner with equivalent expertise.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience dealing with MOJ and OIC Portal RTA claims.
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills.
  • Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
