A local government authority in Peterborough is looking for a Rough Sleeper accommodation Officer to join their Outreach team. The role involves supporting vulnerable individuals in maintaining their accommodation and improving their quality of life. The successful candidate will need to communicate effectively with clients and be flexible in providing outreach services. A fantastic opportunity to join the Rough Sleeper Outreach team as a Rough Sleeper accommodation Officer within housing needs. Supporting rough sleepers to maintain their accommodation by providing a comprehensive range of support services for a specified period. Being reactive to the needs of a vulnerable cohort to ensure that they receive the support needed. Working with customers either Szcz individually or in a group to improve their quality of life, their ability to sustain their accommodation tenancies and the achievement of independent living.
The successful candidates will need to have experience of working with vulnerable people and be confident in communicating with clients and partners in all circumstances. We are a very passionate team who always strive to go above and beyond. There will be a requirement to assist with outreach which takes place at any time of the day or night.
